The area around Bjørkestølen has many trails, and it is also perfect for a snowshoe hike. Imagine walking through powder snow, with snow-covered trees, birds chirping and the sun peeking through the trees.
Snowshoeing
There are many great places to go snowshoeing at Bjørkestølen. A tip might be to go towards Hestmyra, and into Elgplassen. Start from the campsite and walk a little up the ski trail. Then go right and follow the snowshoe trails into the forest. When you get to Elgplassen, you can also choose to continue on several paths.
